The Powell Project is dedicated to the holistic improvement of the community of Greenville, North Carolina by way of empowering the youth, allocating resources to underserved individuals, and investing in medical research with a focus on Cancer and Down Syndrome.
Vision
To enrich and improve the livelihood of the Greenville community, which in turn ignites change in surrounding communities and furthermore across the United States.
Youth Empowerment
Cornell believes that through sports, children can find motivation to become greater than their environment. By harnessing leadership skills, instilling the importance of teamwork, and infusing the power of a strong work ethic, The Powell Project utilizes football camps as the conduit for building future community leaders and change makers.
Medical Research
Cornell believes that through medical research we can discover cures, develop remedies, and improve the overall livelihood of people from every walk of life. The Powell Project focuses specifically on the advancement of Cancer and Down Syndrome Research.
Resource Allocation
Cornell believes there's power in community, but for a community to be powerful it must have resources that drive opportunity. The Powell Project is committed to standing in the gap of need and provision for the enhancement of Greenville.
